Start something powerful

With a phenomenal new Ultra-Performance Hybrid Powertrain, the Bentley Continental GT Speed combines the V8 power you know with an unprecedented boost of torque from its electric motor, to deliver truly astonishing performance: 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft) of torque and 771 bhp (782 PS). That means 0-60 mph in 3.1 seconds (0-100 kph in 3.2 seconds) and a top speed of 208 mph (335 km/h).

Ultra-Performance Hybrid Powertrain
Combining an all-new turbocharged 4.0 litre V8 petrol engine with a powerful electric motor, this car delivers 11 % more torque than the previous Continental GT Speed – and close to 20 % more power overall. Its instant response means there is no lag when you put your foot down – which in turn allows the engine to be tuned for maximum performance at higher revs.

Active air suspension
New twin-valve dampers make the suspension system more flexible than ever, allowing for a more refined ride in Comfort mode, for example – even when negotiating roads with potholes or other surface imperfections. Yet they also allow for greater control and stability in Sport mode – especially when cornering at speed.

Optimal weight distribution
The batteries are located beneath the boot floor to spread the weight optimally and lower the car’s centre of gravity. This balances the weight of the engine at the front, for close to a 50/50 weight distribution.

Adaptive headlight technology
The illuminated 3D latticework inside the new headlamps features bold precision detailing exclusive to the Continental GT Speed, echoing the design of the matrix grille – yet these stunning new lights are not just for show. The main beam can be used at all times, because central sections of it deactivate when oncoming traffic is detected. The lights even respond automatically to stop you being dazzled by light reflected from road signs.

Never look back
The Continental GT Speed is a statement of intent from Bentley’s designers – and the opening salvo in a purposeful new approach to sports-inspired GT design.

Inspired by the steely gaze of a tiger as it prepares to strike, the outline of the single, oval lamps is countered by the sharp edge of their new brows. The tail-lamps, meanwhile, feature smoke-effect lenses.

The exterior detailing has been treated with a dark tint, from the matrix grille at the front to the sports exhaust finisher at the rear, while sport sills and a new, body-coloured Styling Specification make the car appear wider, lower and closer to the road, for a relaxed yet muscular stance.

Performance
Unprecedented power and control

Capable of producing 771 bhp (782 PS) and 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft) of torque, the Continental GT Speed can take you from zero to 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds (0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds) and on to 208 mph (335 km/h).

For an unrivalled dynamic driving experience, the Continental GT Speed features the Bentley Performance Active Chassis package – a collection of advanced chassis systems that optimise the car’s handling, whatever the driving situation.

An electronic Limited Slip Differential (eLSD) improves rear wheel grip, enhancing traction and stability, for more confident driving. In Sport mode, it improves cornering dynamics significantly, allowing you to accelerate out of corners faster and with more control.

Bentley Dynamic Ride is a 48-volt electronic anti-roll system that has been recalibrated specifically for the Continental GT. It uses powerful electric motors to control body roll, keeping the car more stable when cornering, without compromising on ride refinement when driving in a straight line.

All-wheel steering means that at low speeds, the rear wheels steer in the opposite direction to the front wheels, reducing the car’s turning circle for even better manoeuvrability in tight spaces. At high speeds, meanwhile, the rear wheels steer in the same direction as the front wheels, allowing you to change lanes and overtake more nimbly and smoothly than ever.

Speed motifs
A contemporary cabin

The ‘Speed’ emblem is emblazoned on the treadplates, dashboard and headrests, leaving occupants in no doubt as to your car’s status.

The stunning new 3D diamond hide is used on the door panels, for a tactile, sporting take on contemporary cabin design.

Colour Specification
As well as the unique ‘Speed’ colour split, the Colour Specification comes as standard, so you can choose from the entire range of hide colours and carpet colours.

Dark Chrome Interior Specification
The optional Dark Chrome Interior Specification (recommended in conjunction with the exterior Blackline Specification) takes the key brightware components and gives them a more purposeful dark tint, while switches that normally feature a gloss finish are rendered in matt black.

Mulliner
The beauty of bespoke

As with every Bentley, you have the option to engage with Mulliner’s personal commissioning team, either to add established Mulliner features and finishes from the Personal Commissioning Guide, or to work with the team directly in the creation of something truly bespoke. With Mulliner, the only limit is your imagination.

Comprehensive connectivity
The wireless and wired versions of Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ are supported as standard. Connected services include Over-the-air map updates to ensure navigation is always accurate, plus Real-time traffic information, to make you aware of any congestion that could slow you down. There is also a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot and wireless charging for phones that support it.

Use the apps you prefer
With the new My Bentley App Studio, you can download apps direct to the car’s infotainment system, from a selection curated and supported by Bentley. So if you choose to use a third- party navigation app, for example, it will be able to access the car’s data, such as fuel and/or charge levels, for better journey planning.

The Continental GT Speed presents a virtually limitless opportunity to configure the perfect car for you, with an emphasis on sporting detail and technical finishes.

You can choose from seven exterior colours as standard, or more than 80 if you also consider the extended range and Mulliner Paints – including new Tourmaline Green and Gravity Grey. Inside, there are numerous colours to choose from for the leather and Dinamica upholstery, alongside a dazzling array of colour splits, stitching styles and piping options.

In addition to Bentley’s comprehensive range of wood veneers, there is a wide selection of technical finishes that complement the car’s sporting character, including Dark Tint Diamond Brushed Aluminium and Carbon Fibre. There are also new ‘piano’ gloss-painted options, including Imperial Blue, Gravity Grey by Mulliner, Burnt Oak and Cricket Ball.
